ROMA DOWNEY

 I was fortunate enough to be given the opportunity to interview my childhood role model actress/producer Roma Downey. Roma has had a very successful acting career playing the warm, caring Angel, Monica on the TV series 'Touched by an Angel' throughout the 90's. She is now married to TV Producer Mark Burnett and together they have joined forces to create an amazing mini series titled 'The Bible' which covers the Bible stories in as much detail as possible.

Roma today is a devoted Catholic, and has had a Catholic upbringing in Ireland. It was a great honour and pleasure for me to interview someone who still has so much faith and is a great believer in the Lord almighty, although she has said that in the UK when it comes to religion, 'the UK population are cynical'. I can certainly agree with her right there.
