PROSO - Engaging society for Responsible Research Innovation (RRI) has had it's final conference on Empowering societal actors through responsible Research and Innovation. The conference was held in Brussels, Belgium at the Thon Hotel.
This event was moderated by Katrina Sichel and the Welcome note by Ana Arana Antelo (Head of Unit of DG RTD, European Commission). Mrs Antelo explained that citizen science was one of the main priorities for the FP9 agenda.
Marion Dreyer gave insight concerning the PROSO project and a engaging Panel discussion was held discussing; what could/should empowerment imply? various cases studies were also presented to the audience throughout the conference. This event was a platform for those involved in research and innovation to gain insight and network throughout the day.
